FAQs

Q: What is the difference between equal and unequal corner protectors? 

Equal (or standard) corner protectors have both arms of the same width — for example, 25mm x 25mm — and are used on standard 90-degree corners. Unequal corner protectors have arms of different widths, such as 25mm x 50mm, and are designed for corners where one surface needs more coverage than the other, or for fixing to uneven angles. 

Q: Can corner protectors be painted over? 

PVC corner protectors can be painted with standard decorators' paint to match any wall colour. We recommend lightly sanding the surface before painting for the best adhesion. Wood effect protectors should not be painted as this would cover the decorative finish. 

Q: Are these suitable for outdoor use? 

Our standard PVC corner protectors are moisture-resistant and suitable for sheltered outdoor use. For fully exposed external corners, we recommend checking the product specification or contacting us for guidance.
